Mother's Day Medical Aid Shipment Arrives in Cherkasy

Last week our Mother’s Day Medical Aid Shipment arrived at the cardiology center at the Regional Hospital in Cherkasy, Ukraine. This was a shipment of $6,143.30 of prescription medications weighing 154.25 lbs (70.1 kg), a large part was oral and parenteral antibiotics needed by hospitalized patients recovering from war-related injuries. The shipping was handled by our friends at Brother’s Brother Foundation as part of their incredible ongoing humanitarian aid response to the Ukraine war. We purchased the medications through Blessings International, who included a generous donation of their own.

From our colleagues in Cherkasy, Ukraine:

Thank you from Cherkasy.

“Cherkasy cardiology center receives aid from across the ocean! Most recently we received a large humanitarian shipment. Thank you for the assistance to all of our friends in the USA!”

It’s great to be part of these collaborative efforts to get medicines and hospital supplies to multiple areas in Ukraine, including regions that are not getting a lot of other humanitarian aid. We are hearing loud and clear from our friends in Ukraine that every shipment helps, and they are extremely grateful. Please join us and be part of keeping hospitals in Ukraine supplied!

We are still accepting donations!

We are collecting monetary donations to support the purchase of medical supplies and non-controlled substance medications now for Ukrainian hospitals. Go to our fundraising page to contribute.

We are a non-profit organized under the Rochester Regional Health Foundations.
