Future for Ukraine Foundation Medical Aid Shipment
Last week we purchased $9172.10 in prescription medications and other hospital supplies through Blessings International for shipment to Ukraine. Once again, Blessings International made a very generous donation to cover part of this shipment – $4586.05. And Blessings is covering the cost of shipping to Poland! Thank you Blessings!
Our latest prescription medication shipment being prepared at Blessings International.
This shipment includes a variety of important medications, including anti-seizure meds, antibiotics, blood pressure meds, epinephrine, as well as children’s vitamins and iron supplements. We also included surgical gloves and a number of first aid kits. This shipment weighed 446 lbs (202 kg) and is destined for our friends and colleagues at Children’s Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv.

What is also exciting about this shipment is the logistics! This shipment is already on it’s way by air to Poland, where it will be received by our new partners at the Future For Ukraine Foundation, a non-governmental organization with offices in both Poland and Ukraine. FFU Foundation will then handle distribution to Kharkiv.
We are very excited by our new partnership with FFU Foundation. It will allow us to:
- Ship medications and hospital supplies to Poland for easier distribution in Ukraine
- Purchase medications and hospital supplies in Poland and in Ukraine, when available
- Support FFU Foundation in their many programs to provide medical aid in Ukraine
