Future for Ukraine Foundation Medical Aid Shipment Arrives in Kharkiv

FFU Foundation shipment arrives in Kharkiv.

On July 12, 2022 our shipment of $9172.10 in prescription medications and other hospital supplies arrived to our friends and colleagues at the Children’s Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. This shipment included anti-seizure meds, antibiotics, blood pressure meds, epinephrine, children’s vitamins, iron supplements, as well as surgical gloves and a number of first aid kits. All of these life-giving supplies were provided by you, our donors!

FFU Foundation transported the shipment to Kharkiv.

These supplies were shipped to Poland by our partners at Blessings International, and then transport from Poland into Ukraine and delivery to the hospital in Kharkiv was handled by the Future For Ukraine Foundation.

This shipment was our largest to date, 21 boxes in total, and filled an entire pallet. The Children’s Hospital No. 5 cares for pediatric patients with a variety of neurologic conditions, and these supplies ensure that they will be able to continue their work despite the disruptions to the medical supply chain brought on by this war.

Just after the shipment’s arrival, the neighborhood around the hospital came under Russian bombardment, and they temporarily lost electricity and internet. Thankfully, everyone is unharmed.

Message.

“Not much video right now(( the van just got here. Then a heavy bombardment began in our neighborhood(( and we lost lights and internet. Now everything is okay. Tomorrow when things are calm we will unpack everything. And will be happy again)))”

A video about this shipment’s arrival will be coming soon!
