Neuromed clinic in Vynnitsia, Ukraine, hit in Russian terror attack on July 14, 2022.

Yesterday three cruise missiles fired by a Russian submarine in the Black Sea hit the town of Vynnitsia, Ukraine, located about 125 miles southwest of Kyiv. At least 24 people were killed, including three children, and many are still missing.

In that terrorist attack, the neurology clinic Neuromed was hit.

Members of the office staff were killed, including administrator Kateryna Hula, and the clinic’s manager Tetyana Kharchenko.

All Ukrainians are our extended family. But we consider doctors and staff working with neurology patients to be our especially close family. An attack on them is an attack on all of us.

FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK WE ARE SPECIFICALLY COLLECTING FUNDS TO HELP THE TREATMENT AND RECOVERY OUR WOUNDED BROTHER AND SISTER.

  1. Please consider giving to this special drive through our donation page.

  2. Please also write to your Congressperson and Senator to support the Graham-Blumenthal Resolution, a bipartisan call for the U.S. State Department to designate the Russian Federation a state sponsor of terrorism.

This designation further disconnects Russia from the world economy, and allows additional categories of sanctions to be placed on a country, including restrictions on U.S. foreign assistance, ban on defense exports and sales, certain controls over exports of dual-use items, and financial and other restrictions. If designated, Russia would join a small list of other countries who are designated state sponsors of terror: Cuba, North Korea, Iran, and Syria. It’s long past time.

We are still accepting donations.

We are collecting monetary donations to support the purchase of medical supplies and non-controlled substance medications now for Ukrainian hospitals. Go to our fundraising page to contribute.

We are a non-profit organized under the Rochester Regional Health Foundations.
