Dr Laura Price Memorial Aid Shipment for Ukraine
On Sunday, March 27, 2022 we sent 173 lbs (78.6 kg) of medical supplies via FedEx from Rochester NY to the Nova Poshta office in New Jersey. From there, the supplies will be shipped to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health in Lviv, Ukraine, and then distributed to Children’s Hospital No. 5 and Children’s Clinic No. 1 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. We have contacts at both locations.
This shipment is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Laura Price, our much beloved pediatrician and neonatologist at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Price’s family, friends, and colleagues made this shipment possible, and included many many medications and supplies. In addition to Dr. Price’s family, we especially want to thank URMC’s Department of Pediatrics Chair Dr. Pat Brophy and Kristen Brown, NNP-BC for making this possible.

The shipment was divided up into 4 boxes.
We anticipate the shipment will arrive in Ukraine next week.
We are already preparing Shipment 2, which we plan to send out this upcoming weekend.
